Chapter Philanthropy and Service
Each year Zeta Tau Alpha holds various events around campus to raise money for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Beginning in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month, our sorority kicks off the semester with Pink Lemonade and Donutz. This event is held outside and the student body is able to stop by for a bite to eat or some refreshing lemonade. At this event there is music playing and a wonderful atmosphere for people to stop by and hang out during the day or on their way to class!
Another event that Zeta Tau Alpha holds during October is Z-Factor. This event is Zeta Tau Alpha’s spin off of “X-Factor”. There are student judges and participants from the student body and other organizations that participate in the talent show.
Dodge for a Cure is a dodgeball tournament that Zeta Tau Alpha puts together in the Spring. Athletes, Greek Life, clubs, and other students sign up as teams to participate and the winning team wins a check that can be donated to their philanthropy or a charity of their choice. The members of Zeta Tau Alpha are passionate about our philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education and Awareness; these are just a few of the events that our sorority puts together to raise money for this cause.
